gramps green

I am Gramps Green, but my real name is Dan.  I am 58 years old, married to a wonderful wife who lets me metal detect.  She's a good woman and was a 911 dispatcher for 25 years.  I am a semi-retired painter and drywall finisher.  I used to bow hunt, canoe, fish, and also hike the Sleeping Bear National Sand Dunes park along Lake Michigan.  Now, I garden and metal detect.  I started metal detecting a year ago with my AT Pro and have found 8 gold rings, around 20 silver rings, and 20-30 cheaper rings.  I am mainly a water hunter, and spring snow pile parking lot hunter.   My only regret is I didn't start this 30 years ago.  Below is a picture of me with my two "girls" and some of the  bounty I've found, mostly in fresh water.
