Yep and I was going to order one from JP and when I went to submit the Order a pop up came up that stated they would not ship internationally and the one company that would ship internationally it was like $60 to get one sent to me so I ended up building my own, there are no hip sticks available in the U.S that I could find, although Doc did discover some on one of his shelves, which I had him to send me one The way the hip stick is designed it works in conjunction with a detecting harness like Docs Ultra Swingy Thingy the same way the ones JP sales and the same way the original inventor intended for them to work.

I have been using Docs Ultra Swingy thingy which came with what Doc calls the Queegle or Quipple (just not sure which) Doc had a special going when I purchased mine that special included the Ultra Swingy Thingy, Quipple, Bungee system, Saga Swing Arm, and also a utility Belt I built my own Hip Stick, what I do is once I have the Ultra Swingy thingy on I then put the Utility belt on around my waist and over top of the suspender clamps that attach to your pants, then the Hip Stick I put together attaches onto that utility belt at my waist the top attaches to the rings on the Ultra Swingy Thingy, with the bottom of the hip stick attached to the utility belt it completely takes all the weight off your shoulders and puts the weight down on the utility belt, not pushing down on my pants at all had it not been for Docs inventions, plus the hip stick I made, and me being determined to not have to give up detecting all together, i would have had to quit detecting, because of injuries I had sustained in my younger days had it not been for me willing to try something new I would have been finished detecting, also with a little instruction from doc to change the way I swing a detector, as it was prior to the harness, Hip Stick, and saga swing arm, I would have been completely finished with my detecting hobby, because of the pain I was experiencing I could only muster about 45 minutes to an hour of detecting, now with everything from Doc and the Hip stick I can at least get out and detect for quite a few hours with out the pain stopping me, those things have made detecting fun again for me If and when Doc comes up with a newly designed hip stick I will dang sure give it a try, even though I built my own and it is working very well I will still try what ever Doc comes up with as far as a hip stick is concerned.

@Wiggins Everything phrunt stated is the same as I have stated in PMs, I have also been testing out the Relay also as you know, again I have addressed my concerns with the short cable, which can be used by adapters and longer cables but, the fewer the connection points the less chance of things becoming disconnected, as @phrunt stated the little relay works great with no audio drop outs at all, the volume control on the relay is a big plus and works great, the size of the Relay is perfect because the size makes it easier for placement on a detector, The TC417 would also work but would be just a little harder for placement on some detectors, not all but some. @Wiggins thank you and Avantree again for continuing to try and produce a great product for us detectorist photo of relay mounted on the Axiom

I use the Predator tools model 24 Phoenix shovel all the time, I never leave home with out it whether I go out detecting for coins, or nuggets, the best shovel on the market rite now the only thing I wish the handle was a little bit longer on the Phoenix shovel you might also look at the Hurricane shovel mad by Predator tools, the Hurricane is the same as the Phoenix shovel but has a T handle instead of the D handle, and is longer than the Phoenix shovel

Yeah it aint worth the headaches to try to join another forum was just sitting here in the hospital room with my wife, so figured I would try to join Dankowski's forum to give me something else to read

I just tried to Re Register on the New Forum and I cant even get past the stupid thing you have to type in the Letters for, it keeps saying I typed in the wrong code so I have now given up, I understand why that code is there so they know you are not actually a BOT but theirs is ridiculous, not sure what the issue is over on that site, I have tried two different emails and it still keeps saying the same thing that I have entered the wrong code, not worth the headache to me for a forum

Chase I did use the activation email and then when I go to log in is says my user ID and log in info is not correct

I have tried several times to register on his forum and every time it looks like everything is set up so I can venture into that forum it will not allow me to even log in, I just signed u again recently and it still will not let me log in

No way would I ever purchase a detector on credit, doing that you have to make it pay for itself, every detector I have or have ever had I paid cash for or traded a detector to get a different detector I was interested in, and if I did not have the cash I waited until I did so as to not feel like I just had to find only good things to make a detector pay for itself, yes I have recovered enough that most of the detectors I have purchased paid for them selves but some of them took me a couple years to recoup the cost in finds, I did not care as long as I was having fun doing what I love to do, it has gotten harder the past few years with my wife having medical issues but it is what it is and in the end it is just a fun hobby for me personally.

Thanks for clearing this up Steve, even though I never turn any of my detectors on without the coil connected, I was just curious on a PI, because of statements I have read but no one ever explained the why, so again thank you for taking the time to answer what is probably a common since answer LOL

I keep reading in a few different post (To Not Turn A PI On Without a coil connected) I have not attempted to do so because of reading what I quoted, but have often been curious as to what would happen if one was to turn a PI on without a coil connected I know with a VLF generally you will get a coil Error pop up and for instance like the Legend the Legend will shut itself down with out a coil attached so can someone explain to me what happens if you power up a PI with out a coil attached (Just Curious) also why do manufactures not put in a fail safe to prevent a PI from powering up with out a coil connected, if it can cause harm to a PI again just curios because of a statement in one of @Steve Herschbach recent post

Hell by the time my grand kids are old enough to start detecting, someone will have come out with a detector that will talk to you and tell you exactly what is under the coil or will have a voice that will say (Hey Stupid Thats a Dam pull tab keep walking, or aluminum foil), or there will be a trap door that opens with a midget monkey that comes out and digs that pull tab for you so you do not have to get down on your old knees and dig yourself.

The biggest problem I see and I tell everyone this, if you are getting into this great hobby expecting to get rich find a different hobby and way to make a profit because metal detecting of any kind is not going to make you rich, the only ones getting rich are the manufactures of the equipment we all use, but if you are getting into this great hobby for the enjoyment of getting outside to have fun then by all means have fun do I believe you can get lucky every once in awhile absolutely, (every Dog Finds a bone occasionally) LOL, but I dang sure do not keep purchasing these different detectors thinking they will make me rich, I purchase them because I enjoy trying different detectors and seeing what a new detector can do, most of them are no better than what I already had honestly, but they are fun just to get a different perspective, its like when I purchased the Axiom I already had the Garrett 24K and have found a few small bits, honestly I keep swinging the 24K why because it is a fun little VLF that keeps finding me a few little bits here and there, I wanted a PI so I purchased a PI, and I will eventually start swinging the PI more when the 24K quits being fun and stops finding me a few scraps here and there, this new AlgoForce E1500 i do not expect it to do anything more than what I already have other than spend more money on things I know I do not actually need LOL, I will pick one up when they become available why just because it looks like it will be a fun little PI to use and get a new perspective from LOL

I have never ran out of likes as much as I have ran out since this new E1500 has been in your hands phrunt LOL but here is a Great Big Thumbs up for all the testing you are doing, they are all greatly appreciated by a lot of us that are interested in this new detector Gonna have to find me some Emoji's to start inserting in my replies because i keep abusing that thumbs up button and the Winners Cup LOL

Those Blunt squared off coils is my only complaint with the Axiom also, on the Smaller Coils only though, the two bigger size coils I would never swing either of those in an area that a more pointed tipped small coil would work better, I do wish Garrett would at the very Least produce a couple of smaller pointed coils for the Axiom though, I only use the 16x14 mono and the 13x11 DD in areas where I have a open flat area to swing in, which is few and far between, maybe 7-10% of the time, the rest of the areas I detect I am trying to get in and around all kinds of obstacles and those squared off blunt noses and tails makes it tough Come on Garrett or someone give us some smaller and more pointed or small and round coils for the Axiom, I don't care who it is just give us what we want and need for the task at hand LOL, a 6 or 8 inch round in Mono or DD or a 9x5 pointed in Mono or DD, I would be a happy camper for sure LOL

Obviously they do not need mine lab involved, from what I am seeing and reading they will do OK with out Mine labs Greedy Butt's involved, the only reason mine lab would get involved is to kill it and keep doing what they have been doing, keeping prices high and out of reach of the average detectorist and keep trying to monopolize the market.

I think its going to be a good one for me, as I do not use TIDs on detectors, I listen to the Tones and if it sounds good to great I dig, even with the tech of today I never really looked at the screen much, I just wanted a detector that I could ground balance and adjust a little and then detect, and I felt the Vista X would allow me to do that, it should be here by Friday and we will see, hopefully it will bring back the fun in detecting to me again, as it has not been fun for me here lately at all

Well I have found its not quite true when it comes to rechargeable AA batteries there really is a difference in the good ones and the cheaper brands, when it comes to using them in a detector the good ones like the Eneloop Pro's and such seem to give you a longer run time than just your average rechargeable AA's, size wise I have not noticed much differences but the amount of run time, I have noticed some pretty big differences in them

Thanks Chuck, not a problem carrying spare rechargeable's for me, I use the Eneloop Pro's and picked up some carrier's for double A's the containers are made by Eneloop and hold 4 AA's in each one, have also had good results with the Tenergy AA's Really looking forward to giving this Vista X a try

Is there a reason that the Deep Tech detectors are not discussed much on DP I have recently done a trade deal for a Deep Tech Vista X, did I need the Vista X no, but I always wanted to try a beep and dig detector, so I did a deal on one, should be here by the end of the week One question I have on the Deep Tech Vista X, is it states to use Alkaline AA batteries to power, is there any reason you cannot use a good rechargeable AA battery in the Vista X, I have a ton of Rechargeable AA's, already

For me personally, it came down to, do I purchase a GPX6000 or pick up a Axiom the cost was the ultimate decision maker for me, I weighed the factors of ok am I going to find enough small nuggets to justify the expense difference between an Axiom or 6000, and I am not bragging but I could have purchased any PI I wanted including the GPZ 7000, most or a lot do not have that luxury of being able to purchase the most expensive out there, I weighed all my options that was available at the time and went with the sensible answer at the time, sure the PI I went with does not say Mine Lab on the side of it, but ultimately I went with the Sensible route and most realistic route I could have taken at the time, and that was the Axiom, I do like the Axiom, but I will tell anyone that ask me had the AlgoForce E 1500 been out at the time, that is the route I would have taken, because of the cost of the E1500. I will be purchasing one of the E1500s when they become available in the U.S not because I need it, but simply because I want one, do I expect it to do anything that the Axiom cannot do (Nope), one of the reasons I went with the Axiom was because at the time I was under the impression there would be after market coils produced, I do not see this happening with the entrance of this new detector the E1500, personally for me, I like having coil options and that is the appealing part for me is the amount of coils that is already available for the E1500, again I like the Axiom but those blunt nosed coils I really do not care for.

Now you have given me an idea of how to mount a transmitter to my ORX when i receive it Monday or Tuesday LOL so I can use the Torus with the ORX

The bike mount is a great idea except I see one issue some of the detectors have odd shaped shafts, one being the Axiom there is nothing round anywhere on that detector to attach that type of bike clamp mount, and the Axiom is only one detector with an odd shaped shaft, but that is a great idea. a more elongated square type transmitter also would make it easier for placement on a detector somewhere, one shaped like this below would be ideal for placement on most detectors with female 3.5mm jack and RX/TX capabilities, with included volume control https://avantree.com/as70p-bluetooth-adapter-for-headphones or something similar to the ones phrunt suggested
