  1. People like to flame new machines because it's not their brand or their model. Minelab doesn't build toys. I am not worried about that. It is said they are aiming at the novice. That doesn't mean the X spert can find a use for it. What I am interested in is it new tech or does it do something different or better than whats already avaliable. I am not going to run out and get one until I hear and see one. I am also interested in Fishers possible new machine.
  2. "Minelab is not going to put a detector on the market at $799 that outperforms its higher priced units. " Exactly! They can put out a unit that detects gold in a different way. After all this is just a single frequency VLF machine. The frequency of the detector isn't all that important if you can't defeat ground mineralization better than what's already out on the market. Pick a frequency 19, 30, 45, 71. That's been done. They all work on gold. Hopefully Minelab has done that with this Detector. I still think it needs a threshold
  3. New guy here. Was a Minelab dealer for a while. I am just curious about this new machine. I watched the video and as usual Minelab did a good job tweaking interest in their new offering. If it's been asked and answered I apologize for asking it again. Is there a threshold and threshold adjustment for this Detector? I didn't hear it in the video. I could only hear audio tones of targets and the loud techno music. Thanks
