  1. "i still wish v2.0 had the same ID normalization as .71. Not a huge deal, but a little annoying having to get used to new TID readings in different programs." WHAT??? I just updated to 2.0 but I didn't know that this was part of it. Do I have to now do a complete new TID chart? otherwise this TEKKNA really sounds great. I can't wait to try it. What great write ups ya"ll.
  2. you worked for it.. nice going..
  3. an update that will eliminate iron masking ... lol
  4. Try Detector Electronics in Massachusetts.... I think they are XP US distributors
  5. I missed the Reaper... can someone enlighten me please? thanks
  6. I gave up on it in paired mode. I'm just using it as a stand alone. Along with all the other problems I am not happy having to turn it off when I can't find the target with it and have to use the detector to see where it is and then have to turn the PP on again to continue ...
  7. Searching for my honey hole by the BeepGees... Or Ohm by the Hummers...
  8. What was that you said? Lol.. knowing about all of that is one thing, but making your own curcuit board is incredible. Keep us posted. This info is amazing.
  9. Why not use Relic program ? I didn't use it much but it surprised me. I couldn't believe the big iron I found in a corn field that I have detected a lot, always trying to avoid the iron. Those little blips in disc can be big iron. It's actually hard to believe how well disc works.
  10. What a great write up. Lots to try if I can ever get out.
  11. Lol... where the heck do I find it in that menu?
  12. Really interesting, thanks. I've never changed mine from default either... can't wait to check it out.
  13. Just trying to keep up the updates is probably delaying it too
  14. details man, details... we need more details .. LOL fantastic review. I got mine yesterday too but because I'm not well I didn't get to it. I just took the rod out of the box ... all i can say is WOW ... my review? SLICK
  15. Looking beautiful Steve. Now, fill the tubes with Helium... lol
  16. Congrats. Keep us posted on how it goes for you. I've never used a centering device so lmk anything you can about how it's different. I have seen some for sale on eBay.
  17. Got cha... I was thinking that the cable on the bone ones was a eighth inch plug and not the multi pin one...
  18. that is why I stopped using the MI6 and went back to the carrot.

  20. a little off topic Mr.PimentoUK is that I have heard that all detectors can only output 5 volts maximum as directed by the FCC. do you know anything about this or is it urban legend? thanks
  21. My email has been sent. Can't wait. Looks incredible.
  22. great info everyone. Much to think about and try here. I've been mostly using Fast or DeepHC with a lot of tweaking. I'm finding I'm liking 3 tone audio so far. More tones of full are too much for my ears and mind to pay attention to. Fast for trashy areas or high iron. DeepHC for less trashy and wanting to go as deep as possible. I WILL try the general next. I always thought that moist soil was better for detectors and halo effect made coins seem bigger and easier to pick up on the machine. been raining a lot here in Western NY so this should be interesting. thanks again for all the info.
