  1. No. I have not talked to any one. That is why I joined this forum is to speak to people with knowledge and experienced. I figured you guys would know better considering a sells man is just looking to sell.
  2. Thank you for the advice. You have read my posts and the area's I will be looking. What do you recommend. I am leaning towards the Garret AT pro but also like the seahunter 2. I have know idea as I am new to this. I am looking at getting the bundle pack that comes with everything or am I better off buying separate. I do I want a machine that can swap coils.
  3. I am in southeast Texas. Between Houston and lake Charles. Mostly hunting up around hemphill, texas. Land that has never been cut or disturbed. National Forest land and Type 2 land. But will also be on the beaches of Toledo Bend and Sam Rayburn. But may also go to the Sabine river, neches river and the gulf of Mexico. So I am looking for the most versitile MD.
  4. Is their any other machine that you would recommend. I have seen some bad comments on the AT PRO since I made this post. What about the sea hunter or even a different brand
  5. Hello. I am very new to MD. I am looking at buying my first one and looking for any advice on what to get. I will be detecting on lakes, beaches and in the piney woods of texas. Ground is going to be a mixture of hard soil some soft and beach sand at times. It will be in creek beds, lake water and every once in a while the beach. I am not looking for the cheapest but not the most expensive either. My budget will be some where around $200.00 and $800.00. I have looked at the Garret AT pro. And the T2 SE. But if their is something different or better please share and let me know So what do you guys think.
