I like the garrett at max it's a great all around metal detector. Here is my gold flake test coin test and ring test up close so you can see the inches. I have just got my Garrett AT Max and have taken it out a few times now. It is far superior to the Garrett AT Pro and Garrett AT Gold. I have owned the GTI 2500, I've used White's machines and mine labs are just too darn expensive. The AT Max out performs other detectors that are $2,000 machines. For the money you can't beat it. It's a great little machine that's light waterproof easy to take apart and put in a backpack and pretty darn fun. This is my quick air test at max vrs at pro.
