  1. My dealer the UK XP distributor told me the new CF marked stems are not meant to be as rigid as normal looking carbon weave stems, the slight flex is there to stop the coil lugs from breaking due to impact stress.
  2. If Dimitar did get his patents which were pending sorted does the XP D2 infringe on any of these ? it seems that the performance increases of the D2 over existing units is because of the separate salt balance that it has like the Tarsacci MDT8000 unit uses. Maybe Dimitar only got the patent (if still not pending) for single frequency separate salt balance (Mixed Domain?) and XP have filed for the multi frequency patent? or is Mixed Domain something else other than just separate salt balance ?
  3. Hi Horst, If you do make it over to the UK you are welcome to attend any of our digs in West Yorkshire / Lincolnshire we have digs on Sundays and Fridays the same invitation is open to any overseas member of this forum visiting the UK
  4. i think that the Nox gives me better dig me signals on fringe depth targets and lower conductive ones than any other detector i have used i cant say if it gives me better dig me signals in iron infested sites as i have not done any since getting the Nox but i feel it will do.
  5. hope the halo effect is not as huge as the 11 inch coil
  6. I saw on another forum that a member was at a Minelab trade stall and he asked about the updates and he was told that there will not be any updates for the Equinox might be false information though
  7. yeah but they should all be in one thread so its easy to compare
  8. I think it would be a good idea to have a thread just for after maket Bluetooth headphones for the Equinox as there must be many many different ones out there if people could give their views on what they have bought and what improvement they have over the ML80's. I have bought these https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01A0EAYDI/ref=pe_3187911_189395841_TE_dp_1 advantage over ML80's much better low tones (no boom sound) better overall tones (tighter) they are super comfortable and have much larger ear muffs the head band fit is great if you have a larger head they are slightly lower in volume but not by much than the ML80's.
  9. I noticed that when you are using a single frequency you can not alter the iron bias setting so does this mean that it is set at the setting you have got it set at when you switched from multi to single ? or does iron bias not work at all in single frequency?
  10. Is that 2-4 digits from the default zero GB or after you have done an auto GB and got a number ?
