  1. Detector Mods

Matt kelava has some videos with his 4500 on youtube under "goldhunter" channel. He had his done by woody. He also uses detech coils and swears by both the mods and coils.
  2. 2.2 Lbs Of Gold Found In Man's Butt

I wonder if that would be considered plasser gold or a load deposit.
  3. Know Thyne Enemy

Great job klunker saving a fellow lots of money. You should get the minertarian of the year award for that effort. Cheers
  4. Nurse Paul In Oz

If paul chops off any more toes with my pick he probably will have to switch to wearing clogs instead of his flip flop dress shoes. They may end up keeping him over there for the circus. I guess ill have to get another zed man for my gold sites this winter. Best of luck Nurse paulus. Lol
  5. Crumby Afternoon

Nice chunks lunk. Ive been working 7 days a wek so i havent had a chance to go detecting and probably wont till November. Thanks for reminding me of what gold colored lead looks like. Cheers
  6. The Monster Strikes Again!

Ya know, now that i look at the picture of patty the squach, it looks just like nursepaul. Even has the same face. That was him in that gorilla suit that was traipsing around over in bluff creek. Probably trying to scare the kids off so he could try to take their fishing hole. Great gold finds again. I assume alot of people will be showing pictures of the tiny stuff the monster can find. Once they find a multi gram nugget it will probably sound like a hood of a truck buried under ground. Good luck with your gold monster finds.
  7. The Monster Strikes Again!

Hold on let me get my glasses. Good job
  8. Nurse Paul In Oz

Before you come back with my new supersede pick, can you let some other prospector that can actually find gold touch it for good luck. Haha when you get back you can have these gpz spare parts and flip flops that you keep shipping to me. They dont work on my gpx. Everybody back home is finding lots of nice gold, too bad you missed it. Must be good luck for us for you to be downrange. . I bought a nice used couch in hoopa. It came with a gold nugget some nut lost. See you when you get back. Have fun get some gold.
  9. The ground phase number is always reading the ground and changing despite having a proper gb. One tip i always used is, if you go over some hotrocks, they will transmit a audio signal and possibly a very high or low target id. But during then the ground phase will jump around like normal. But if it is any metal, the ground phase number will drastic drop lower towards 0. Usually somewhere between 0 and 20. If it is a hot rock it will not drop towards zero. Youll just hear the zip zip like a signal. Ground phase is not a target id but can be used to identify a hot rock or metal. I had this happen hundreds of times before i received any target id for the metal for it was still out of range for the target id to identify. I dont remeber ever finding one hot rock that made the ground phase drop towards 0. Other then that, what everyone else said also was helpful. Good luck

Nice fishing both gold and fish.
  11. Gold Monster Shaft Too Long For Me

Steve, the gpx shaft is a good alternate, but i checked mine out with one of the gm 1000 coils and the yoke of the gpx shaft does fit between the coil ears, but the gm coil bolt is a larger size diameter then the hole in the gpx shaft. I guess you could use a smaller diameter bolt and use a wingnut to mount to the gpx shaft. For my partner the gm is also too long. We adjusted it to fit like chuck did. It has about 6-7 inches of shaft past the arm cuff. But she holds her arm cuff next to her side anyway so the xtra shaft didnt bother her. Only chuck.
  12. Gold Monster Can Dance

Hello Finally had a day off after weeks of work to go detecting. My partner and i both had new purchases to try. First i tried out my new 18" detech mono coil for my 5000. It is an amazing coil. Very very quiet in tough soil. It is really sensitive to small targets. I dug one gold piece today at .24 gr. In about 20 minutes of detecting. And some lead targets missed by my previous grid sessions with the coiltek 14 and 18" elites. The detech 18" is definitely a keeper for my arsenal. Next was the amazing performance put on by my lovely partner and her new gold monster. I let her find quite a few undug targets at a site where we found hundreds of pieces of tiny gold in the past. Then once she had a few targets. I tried to follow her gold monsters performance with my makro gold racer running in all metal with sensitivity 75 and enough isat to run a smooth threshold. Any isat less then 7 dont work here. Blanks out the threshold constantly. In the end i could get a signal on 1/3 of her gold monsters undug targets. Mostly they were all a tiny break in the threshold. I also tried my disc 2 mode with the sensitivity turned up to where it gets sparky.(90) But they still just had a small beep. Her gold monster had a totally different reply to the undug targets. Very loud. Which i believe was already stated by steve in his report. We also had her try gold monster in many manual sensitivity settings in all metal. All the way to manual 10. But it is a little sparky up too high. Best manual setting for this site was 6. But the targets were either alot quieter or non existent with that setting. The disc mode was also applied and sounded off well on them. Just not as sensitive. The autoplus mode was definitely the best app for our conditions at the goldfield. The mineralization only made an occasional peep in autoplus. But was easily recognizeable. A few hot hematites sounded off. But they can be checked in a quick switch to disc. Then only once in awhile they would slightly ping only in one direction. So then we dug up the undug targets. Some were tiny birdshot but most were gold, missed previously with other detectors. Everyone of them amazed me how loud they were for their size. Especially the 2 that wont even weigh in the 10ths of grains. These targets were not right on the surface or i would have heard all of them with gold racer. They were deeper then gold racer could detect. I have mostly detected with vlf detectors for 32 years and i could not believe what i was seeing. It was actually pretty funny. Now i feel like i am running old school equipment with my gold racer. I am definitely going to be making the change to gold monster myself. No its not a zed or a pulse induction unit, but i am willing to put money on youll find gold you missed with whatever you are using now. If you already own a monster then take a look at the red dot at the end of the foreign writing and see how small it is. Thats how small the gold we found. Only it sounded like a shallow gram piece of gold. All the 18 pcs that gold monster found totaled only 1/2 dwt. Big money! I have seen the promised land and it is real and its called gm1000. Good luck
  13. Please Send Your Recyclable Cellphones To Me

What about that theory or maybe its fact that there is pounds of gold and other metals in human waste and sewer water. I seen it somewhere on a show perhaps. They were trying to figure out a way to extract it. I hope they dont classify it down before they pan it. I guess precious metals are in all kinds of products we consume and use on a day basis. This could be a great new reality show for Mr. Hoffman Poo miners. Next time someone says your full of it, you can say yeah but im carring 2 ozs. Good luck scott.
  14. Digital Microscope For My Android Smartphone

Looks like raisin bread. I also had a friend order a video cam from china off amazon. it took like 2 months. first they had to steal the plans from a distiguished company somewhere else in the world.
