Thanks all! I have thought about Caribou Creek, as well as going south of Hope on Resurrection Creek, and Bertha Creek. -
I was curious where to spend my time looking for gold using a sluice box and/or pan. I am curious if it is worthwhile heading up torwards Hatcher Pass and taking the Gold Mint Trail and working on the Little Susitna or go to Crow creek in Girdwood? What's your opinion?

Hello, has anybody done detecting in the valley that the Little Susitna river passes through? I am thinking of the valley and slopes to the north and south of the river along the Gold Mint trail.

Hi All, I have just started getting interested in gold prospecting and I have been thinking about getting a detector. I live in Anchorage, AK and was curious if there is anybody around here that could provide some field training for using a gold detector. I have been thinking about getting a White's GMT or Fisher Gold Bug 2. I am leaning towards the GMT right now.
