  1. G day Richard Equinox 800 and electric fence don't get along same as most other detectors tried everything i knew i could to stop it from flashing .
  2. Just seen this on JP's facebook page only 4 hours ago note the part saying only weeks away is this a clue of how long to go before the Equinox relese? Jonathan Porter - The Outback Prospector 4 hrs ยท Stepping out of the goldfields to try his hand at a different kind of treasure hunting, along with good prospecting mate Paul (who's also an expert beach detectorist), JP took his field Equinox 800 for a spin around local areas and turned up a few surprises...find out more in his forum post below. With the new Equinox 600 and 800 models just weeks away, secure your place on the list to grab one of these amazingly versatile little examples of Minelab detecting wizardry!
  3. Hi Steve so the 800 can discriminate out rubbish in the prospecting mode that is good news been getting lots of specimen gold from mining bumps on my mates property with the gpz7000 but so much rubbish don't need depth just need to cut down on the rubbish. Hope i can also get more coins from the old town site there to with the 800.
  4. Not going to be cheap heard on the bush telegraph about $370 Aus $ . To replace a wm12 is $327 so $370 sounds about right hope I'm wrong.
  5. If you thinking of making a DOD coil you still need the chip that is in the coil plug to make it work on the 7000 not specific to a 7000 coil but good info on the site http://www.geotech1.com
