Rye Patch Area Wetter Than Normal?

No one was hurt, just a major flash flood. They closed hwy80 going over the over pass and made everyone exit and go around  because they thought it was unsafe.

 

Yes Chris it was a 4" water fall over the rail road ties where you were staying.

I hunted N Nevada for a few days earlier in the week...It was rainy at times, but not all areas were soaked.  It always amazes me, it can super muddy in one area and in a mile or so it is dusty.

 

I managed to find a few little ones, to include an arrowhead.

Nice arrowhead---the ear is nonexistent on one side--but it doesnt look broken to me--- i think it was worked all the way---if i could see it in person i think it may be 100%--

and a beautiful color..

 

oh yeah,, the gold is good too---

 

i started my digging on arrow heads in east TN when i was a small child so they are an old love!

Amazing how fast the area goes from dry to flood to dry to mud to dry.....
