flakmagnet
Nice prospecting tale Lucky. Once again your careful attention to subtle signals puts you on gold. I have seen you do this time and again and always its a great reminder for all of us to go slow and pay attention to the quiet sounds. Continued good hunting. normmcq
I went out today and hunted hard for several hours in several areas that have been good to me. Not even one target that I thought was gold. I had one more area that I wanted to try before giving up for the day. ( I am in serious need of some marriage maintenance and today would be last day I could hunt for about a week) I wandered close to an area that I had recently found several nuggets and gave it my best shot to beat the skunk. Well low and behold I found a small nugget, now I can go home. On the way back to the truck and not more than forty from it I got another signal. It weighed in at 5.6 dwt. and the total for the day was 6.2 dwt.

LuckyLundy
Norm, Hey great trip you had, to beat the skunk! I too, had some maintenance for a couple weeks at my house. Except my maintenance cost me several ounces out of the poke with new carpets, tile and a hot tub. All good now and back in action! You keep swinging and see ya in the woods...until the next hunt.
