The Omega is no great nugget detector.  Today I tested it in air against a 0.5 and 0.1 gram 14 kt beads.  I have a lot of test data against these and the Omega made maybe 2.5" on the 0.1 bead.

a number of higher freq gold vlf machines I have had typically did 3.5 - 5" on the same bead.

as for the club, it is here.  Nice folks who seriously hunt.  I am a new member, but I am impressed.
