Tom Slick
I always get a kick out of the fact that they usually guarantee satisfaction or you can return it for a "small" 20% restocking fee. For many of these so called long range locaters, that equals about $2000.00. My buddy and I used to joke about that they probably only ever made one unit and just kept reselling it, make a cool two grand off each sale. Steve Herschbach
All I know is that if I had used that detector my entire life I would have walked over all the gold I have ever found without finding a single piece. If dowsing works for people - great. But if so make the dowsing instrument or buy it dirt cheap, there is no reason to invest large sums in dowsing devices dressed up to look like scientific instruments.
Ridge Runner
I too say read what Steve has written on detectors. On that you can't go wrong. Chuck
Johnnysalami1957
On 8/4/2016 at 2:37 PM, Steve Herschbach said: I never heard of this one until you asked about it. Here is the website http://www.gerdetect.de/i/12 Any machine that incorporates a Long Range Locator (LRL) will never be part of my metal detecting kit. From the website above: "This system very accurate in discrimination and identification and monitoring of the signal and guide you to the target by steering digital smart screen of the device. When detect a target will appears on the screen the direction of the target and the user can walk towards the detected target even stand up on the target completely and confined to an area of one square meter with the possibility of very accurate and high specify the type of metal to be detected. And also can select one metal in the search process, such as gold or natural gold or silver or diamonds or cavity or Meteors. With the ability to determine the extent to the front range of the device, starting from 500 meters or 1000 or 1500 or 2000 or 2500 meters and a depth of 35 meters underground." My recommendation is that you stick with mainstream metal detecting equipment instead of what could most kindly be described as "experimental technology". I have reviews of the most popular and successfully employed metal detector models at Steve's Nugget Detector Guide Does it come with a crystal ball? 1515Art
He may not have found any gold with that contraption, but he's captured several hundred thousand Poke-mon with the smart phone interface... And when it gets cold outside all he needs to do is crank up the gain until the blood in his toes starts to simmer, keeps everything nice and toasty on a chilly winter morning.
Tom Slick
If they added a couple more antennas, they could raise the price a couple more thousand dollars!
Randy Lunn
I think we have successfully convinced Guilliaume World to go main stream with quality proven detectors. He was smart to ask. Tomorrow I suspect we will see the Titan Ger 400 advertised as a sure fire device to find hot babes in bars.
Tami
I didn't see like these strong operate devices from before High specification and very accurate. I bought a Titan Ger device -1000 and he found too many targets. It is really good device, i advice you to test this device and buy it.
