Explain Differences In Frequencies

So Steve or somebody explain to me, putting aside higher frequency is more sensitive to tiny objects like gold nuggets. I realize that.

Does higher or lower frequencies go deeper? is there any difference for general coin or relic hunting? Would one or the other pick up or let me hear better a deeper fainter signal?

Basically high frequencies are more sensitive to small/low conductive  items but high frequencies also cause ground minerals to “light up”. This impedes maximum depth of detection on larger items. Lower frequencies are not as “hot” and so do not detect small items as well, but also see through ground minerals better. This adds a little depth on large/high conductive items.

Classic examples are lower frequencies for silver (high conductive) coins and large items like cannon balls. Higher frequencies are the world of the small nugget hunter.
