Nugget Finder Evo 24x12 Any Results?

New member. Purchased NF Evo 24x12, when weather improves I’ll be detecting in the triangle,has anyone had success with this coil on the 5000?

Mate I`ve not used one but when I had a 5000 I thought my 24x12 UFO was a terrific coil.  With the good things I hear about the Evolution coils I rekon in the right ground you are going to get excellent coverage and depth and you`ll still ping the point oner`s on the toe and heel .    To use the 24x12 you need open ground, but I think it would be a killer coil.    Dave

Same story as phoenix - never used the Evo but the UFO coil sure was good to me. Great design for covering lots of ground.

Thanks Dave and Steve, yes I know I need the open country, I should be able to find some around the Golden Triangle. The Evo 12 was good to me and I thought given the extra coverage, the 24x12 Evo would give me an advantage over the 12.

Yes Don, this season coming up in the GT Australia, will maybe give me a good idea on the 24x12 because I will be using it as much as possible, I guess then that you haven’t anything further on this coil?

I was told by an experienced detectorist that it has similar depth as the 15" Round EVO coil but a lot more ground coverage. I might try one later this year.
