The larger the coil the deeper it will go on a good size chunk of metal.  If conditions allow, the Mother Ship 40" would be a good choice provided you have something to push or pull it with.  It is the larger orange coil at the top of the photo.  Also realize terrain can change the size of coil in an area to be used.
