Redneck Posted March 31, 2018 Share Posted March 31, 2018 I went to my local park this am, and detected a 10 x 15' picnic area, that I hit a 3 years ago with a mid priced detector, with a 5" coil, with bleedy, blendy audio. I figured I cleaned it out back then. Well running the 800 thru there this am, I picked up another 4 coins , all 3" or less, with the 11 coil. This area is wall to wall alum foil and tabs. Just amazed how the nox hoovers up the coins amongst the trash. That 6" coil should be amazing! Speed set at 7, park 1, sens 20. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The 11" coil has impressive separation on my trashiest sites. I don't see a reason to give up coverage. I'll wait for some reports from you guys who hunt in heavy iron, and beds of nails, before I consider buying the 6".
