Its bad enough when people leave open holes but then they top it off with leaving trash... That's the crap that gets good people black balled from mining on good land... I second that GGGrrrr!!!!

I thought those bloody inconsiderates were only in OZ, appears they are worldwide. More and more property owners are refusing entry or giving the third degree(who can blame them) and it is simply because of these xters. Very little we can do about them, but educate the up and coming young whom we often help.

Could use a hint on keeping my coil wire secure other than electrical tape... Those chincy little plastic wire looms don't work for nothing ..already lost them and the little Velcro strips they sent couldn't hold a greased string in a cats ass...

Nugget65,

I had the same problem, so I went to a junk store and bought a plastic sleeve that golfers use to separate their clubs in the bag. ($1.00)  I slit it lengthwise and slipped it over the whole length of the coil wire and shaft of my 4500.  Seemed to work, but for some reason I've misplaced it and am just complaining about the problem again.  Might work for you, but remember at the top of the golf club sleeve, the rolled edge is covering a small wire used to stiffen the plastic.  So you will need to cut that with some wire cutters.

Have you tried heat shrink tubing, but ensure to leave some slack it holds tight once shrunk.
