Does Anybody Know What This Is?

I got out for a couple of hour detect this morning and came across this thing. There was no other rubbish around, it was there all on its own. I have no doubt it`s worthless but I don`t think I`ve seen one before.  Anybody know what it might be?

Looks like a lamp shade finial that somebody threaded a carriage bolt into to me.

It's a wig-wam for a goose's bridle.  Finest example I've seen in a long time
