Just like you would a rubber tired machine?  They are slow as there is a reduction gear that compensates accordingly to engine size. Bigger engine higher geared and vice versa. Top speed on my small engine quad maybe 25mph in ideal conditions.

Still 1.5ft snow at claim but I have access to adjoining lode claim with exposed bedrock on steep slope with southern exposure and no snow.  Hopefully next trip out will be with the monster on the hillside....back can't take this digging and sluicing....lol
