They're saying 30% deeper than the 14". Is that 30% plus the 40% , which is 70% or 30% of the 40% which is about 12%? And they will discount it 35% for the 43% of the GPZ purchasers who paid 100%. I'm so confused.

Some of Northern Nevada placers hold some true works of art! Most are covered by a tough coating of caliche, I always have a bottle of CLR in the back of my truck and at the end of the day's hunt they get their baths to show their special features. Most of these special chevron or other crystal type nuggets never make it home and end up with another prospectors poke/collection. My favorite are the nuggets that have crystalline features on both sides of the nugget. Here are a couple that I've found in the last month that didn't make it home with me. Until the next hunt. Chuck, I began a similar low weight high repition workout as a teenager...I think it's helped my detecting too.

Guys The first thing I want you to know I'm not joking. What I do is a low level of weight lifting to keep my arms in shape. This will help you over time but don't look for results over night. I'd say the weight should be the same as the detector and work up from there. I work with a 10 lb. weight with each arm. Them I use a 15 lb.. If you repeat enough with each arm it will start talking to you. I found the two weights work well making it easy for me to swing my detector longer. Chuck

Guys a dollar 295 don't sound bad. I got some detectors I haven't paid that much for. The only thing I see wrong is the dollar is a thousand dollars. All you need is just a nugget about the size as a small hen egg and it's paid for. I wish all you GPZ 7000 owners best of luck. I'd be willing to go with anyone so I can hold your feet and let you down in the hole to get the nugget out. Chuck

The neat thing about nuggets is no two are alike. Thanks for the show and tell guys. Makes me want to put down my coin detector and go nugget hunting. It's just a short drive down the road of a thousand miles. Oh well maybe not today. Chuck.
