  1. Beautiful piece Norm. It was great seeing you both in Q. It had been a long time.
  2. Be sure to use a dealer who offers field instructions. Invaluable information. If it's not against forum policy, I highly recommend Bill Southern of "Nugget Shooters"
  3. Try turning down the sensitivity and those chirps should go away.
  4. Love mine. I use the long handled version to double as a walking stick. At 73, it helps a lot, since I can't get Shep to dig my signals for me.
  5. Sorry to confuse you. I meant the SD 2100 or SD 2200's from Minelab. Patrick
  6. I'm in the same boat as you as far as budget goes, but I think I might be ahead of you on this subject. If nothing else, try your best to locate a Minelab SD series pi machine. They are the oldest (and some say the best) Minelab pi's out there, but they do a GREAT JOB. Don't fool around like I did. Go straight for the best pi's made. Minelab. Patrick .....
  7. Nix on the carrots now days. Unhealthy diet they say. (whoever THEY are). Now the sell brown paper sacks with a what I guess is hay in little bite size squares, and I do mean bite. Try to keep the brown bag hidden, or you may cause a stampede on main street. Cold beer, and good food also I've been there many, many times, and its always a hoot. Patrick..........
  8. I've only met Paul once at an outing years ago at Rich Hill, and liked him immediately. And add to the fact that he works with veterans absolutely makes him a class act. Patrick
  9. Great job Paul. Your hard work and "keep at it" attitude paid off. Patrick
