  8. Hi guys, I have been sending on to Simon (phrunt) some old video footage I took to show him the sensitivity & depth of the 4500 on pretty small gold. using the Minelab 11" Commander Mono coil. That coil found me a lot of gold, small gold. All these clips were taken on the same detecting mission & were pretty much one after the other. The day was windy, as you will see, & it was before my days of using a scoop to retrieve targets. Consequently I got the dropsy's & made a meal of the recovery in the first vid. Hence it dragging on far longer than it should have. Sorry about that. The reason why I never made it public back in the day. I could have edited it but didn't. Just the raw footage. Hope you enjoy. Cheers. Video # 1 Video # 2 Video # 3 There are more that I will add later. Cheers Good luck out there JW

  11. I just completed a very nice Test/Demonstration video on the Minelab Equinox 600 / 800 covering Coins, both Silver and clad. I did a lot of editing to make this video stand out from the average target test. Make sure to check out my other video covering Rings and Jewelry! Hope these videos help the new Equinox users to understand more of what their machine is telling them. GL & HH
  12. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFgzy3yZCA1FdeJcOEbOYMQ/videos Just thought i would post this up, i have been watching his clips for a while now, He is the most prolific gold finder with the monster i have seen, certainly shows how good the monster is at pinging those specimens and tiny flakes. I have been loving the posts by Kiwijw & Phrunt who have been doing well with the monster in NZ but i haven't seen much of the monster in Australia and more in the more mineralised ground until i came across this guy. Cheers,

  16. The darn quarter disappears. I wonder if he was running multi and if he was if he put the 800 on a single high frequency like 40 if it makes any difference? Would be nice to know for when I go sniffing out silver at my iron laden sites. Look forward to more testing, especially that 6" video :)
  17. For all those wondering about latency/delay, and how "fast" standard Bluetooth (SBC), aptX, and aptX-Low Latency actually are, as compared to a "wired" connection -- here is a great video which plays an audio/video clip through two speakers simultaneously... FIRST, they play wired simultaneously with aptX-LL -- 32ms - 40ms delay/latency Second, they play wired simultaneously with aptX -- around 100 ms delay/latency Last, they play wired simultaneously with SBC (standard Bluetooth) -- around 250 ms delay/latency This is a GREAT way to actually HEAR the differences -- hearing both speakers being compared simultaneously allows you to really experience exactly what kind of "delay" or "latency" you are dealing with, with each different source (compared to a "wired" connection). My conclusion -- aptX-LL has NO noticeable delay, aptX has a tiny bit, but I believe it would be nearly, if not totally, insignificant for detecting purposes, and SBC (standard Bluetooth) has significant delay that would make locating targets "visually" (in terms of location of the target in the ground relative to the coil location, based on tone) somewhat difficult/troublesome.
