My source of info hasn't denied any of what I have put . The video shows a red machine and on Facebook on the Vanquish page there is a screen that shows a red control box.

It looks like a Terra on the screen and the machine is Multi Freq so the 2 freqs that is says must be true too . V.Flex IQ I think . We will soon see.

Dunno about the “soon” part but agree we’ll know when we know.  As far as “source” non denials are concerned not sure that means anything at this point.  Source confirmations on the other hand...

Nothing official out of ML on this whole vflex IQ thing AFAICT (please direct me to official ML sources if I am wrong  on this, I welcome being corrected with verified info) only Multi IQ explicitly referenced on the ML released video and posted photos supposedly snapped at the ML Dealer conference slide  presentation.  So denying what ML is actually putting out there just seems like wishful thinking.

No doubt ML is playing up the mystery of it all.

Makes for spicy speculation on the forums and speculation is fun.

Its more the numbers. On the Terra they are far more accurate on coins than the Nox. Less trash in the mix.

I only read this forum and I don't recall ever reading that before.  Apparently this is your experience (please correct me if I'm wrong on that).  If so could you provide more details or a link (if you've done such previously).  Anyone else want to chime in on this point?  I have both but the Minelab X-Terra 705 never really clicked with me like my two Fishers (Gold Bug Pro and F75) and the Minelab Eqx.  Trying to compare accuracy of target ID's between the two would be a lot of effort swinging a detector I never plan on using again.  (Here I'm assuming in-ground tests provide the real evidence.)

I cant say about US coins but on the Nox the 5p , 10p , 20p , 50p all come in at around 10 to mostly 15/6 . That's the same as Pull Tabs and Ring Pulls and a lot of other trash. Pound and 2 Pound coins are the only coins I can pick out on the Nox at 21 to 24 .

On Terra a 5p is 10 . A 10p is 14 . A 20p is 18 and a 50p 16 . Pound and 2 Pound coins are 32 to 34 . Bottle tops are 30 to 36 depending on type and Pull Tabs are 12 , Ring Pulls are 16 . 1 and 2 P coins are 43 and 46 .

The Terra is a far more accurate machine and the tones are better with the numbers .

The Nox was never made for the beach in the first instance . Its the reason there were no beach tests done by the testers till almost the release date and after many demanded or nagged about the Nox.

If the Vanquish works on the same principal as the Terra but is Multi Freq as we think it will out perform the Nox on the dry beach and some other places , though not necessarily in depth ?

I cant wait to see a Vanquish , I will get one if the machine works like the Terra and my older Nox will go .

Also I am going to Oz next year and I have been told the Vanquish doesn't have an internal battery so without batteries installed might get through customs without much trouble . Booking that Holiday tomorrow.

I used the Terra 705 from the beginning of 2011 till mid 2018 and found over £9700 in coinage and 14 Gold rings , over 100 Silver's . No other machine got me that much coinage . Though the ET would have found me that if I used it that much , it has found me £7000 or so and 30 plus Golds and more Silvers than the Terra . The Nox being used lower down the beach where there isn't as much trash is easier so I have had 6 Gold , around 40 Silver's and over £1000 in coinage since I got my hands on one .My Explorer's over the years till I sold my last had around 25 Gold , 100 plus Silver's and £3000 plus in coinage . I have the exact figures written down but those off the top of my head.

This story is like another I know.

It went like this : Little Susie went in to tell her mother about what was Johnny was trying to do .

She said Mommy Johnny is trying to sneak a peek under my dress to see my panties but I fooled him . Well Susie what did you do? I took them off .

Minelab what I want to know is just how much longer we going to get this sneak peek ? Why don’t you be like Susie ?
