Frequencies For Various Coils

I came into possession of a Deltech 8x6 SEF Pro coil for a EDS Winner detector. Would this coil work on a MXT Tracker E-Series detector? I believe the frequency for the EDS Winner is somewhere around 28khz. New to the sport so looking to get educated.  Thanks.

The EDS Winner Detector by Detech operates at about 14 khz as does the Whites MXT (why did you think the coil frequency was 28 khz?).  And the Detech 8x6 SEF appears to be compatible with a number of detectors from various brands.  Normally, I would say it is unlikely to work as 3rd party coils tend to be manufactured in different versions and sold specific to a detector model, but if the coil connector properly mates up with your MXT, you may be in luck.
