kac
Couple years ago I hit one of the swim holes not too far away and in a 10-15 sq ft area hit nickel after nickel......... Was thinking someone was trying to drown their kid by stuffing coins in their pocket and telling them to go for a swim. 5
Ridge Runner
Kac I’ve hit penny spill but never nothing like that before. What year did the dates run on most ? Chuck
kac
Most the dates were were 2000's but few going back to late 60's. Nothing old enough to get giddy over.
strick
I'll bet the guys that detected before you were just were just digging the high tones and left all the nickels? I remember when I first started detecting (not long ago) I kept wondering why I was not finding nickels lol...did you find any rings in that spot? strick
kac
A pewter lapel pin and when i sent the pic to a buddy I said, look at the cool matchbox car i found... didn't mention the nickels hehe. Not one ring. I'll hit it again this fall after the killer frost that knocks some the weeds down, been a couple years since I been there. I do find lots of nickels in parks, think your right on people digging high tones.
