You don't by chance have some photos of the saddle where the nuggets were found? What does a saddle look like from a distance? What exactly is a saddle for us greenhorns? Is that where a smaller foothill butts up against a mountain? Why would nuggets be there?

I don't see Scott putting up the place where he found his new patch..think about what you asked him to do....everyone and their brother would be there....

imagine a two humped camel...dromedary I think... the saddle would be the space between two humps...if the dip gets too deep it becomes a valley....a bench is a flatish area on a hillside.  Both areas can accumulate heavier minerals due to erosion and gravity...

Any slope or pitch change in the terrain. From a steeper slope to a slight slope is a place to than can catch gold. Sometimes saddles can be where a ancient river channel could have cut through. Just lil things I look for.
