Thanks again guys, it's why we hunt is right !! We all know those big ones are out there...we have to go through a lot of trash, and some small nuggets here and there....but the big ones are a surprise. Kind of like pulling the hand on the slot machine....we get fed a little here and there, but just once a while we get that " ohhh my Gosh " nugget. The feelin can't be beat and a memory for ever.... :)

What a stunning piece Relichunter, great find!

 

Love the 4500 too and still find a lot of use for it even though I also own a 7000.

Just made a purchase on a used 4500 ( and a bunch of extra coils and battery) based on doing some research mainly connected to this site. Thanks guys :). That being said I really like this post! There's seven coils and only one is a double D. From what I can tell the mono's should do fine for most situations in Alaska.
