Gold Kruzer W/15.5x13 Coil

Has anyone used this coil? I'm thinking about trying it in the water and I hip mount the box so it might work ok. It's said to weight 503 grams which is light for a big coil. There should be a good depth increase over the 9.5x5 dd coil on gold rings.

Or even hip mounted would be to hard to swing in the water.

I liked the coil on the Gold Racer don't have one for my Gold Kruzer. It is a light coil for it's size but no getting around it making the detector very nose heavy. Maybe too much for some folks in water but I had no real problem swinging the CTX 3030 17" coil underwater all day long so don't see where this would be a problem for me.

In mild ground you'll see a depth increase, not so much on highly mineralized beaches where you have to back the gain off. Main bebfit for me is extra coverage more than depth... extra depth is more a bonus.
