JohnnyRox
Am I missing something here? Most finds don't appear very deep, yet the Minelabs couldn't find any gold but the AQ did?

Rick K - First Member
Regarding the depth of targets in the video,I took some stills from the video. They show 1. An overview of the beach - if you click it to blow it up you can see another guy detecting 2.The beach surface when LE.JAG made the video - notice the marks on the pilings - I think the upper part is what was previously exposed and the lower part shows how much sand was shifted, 3.The original installation by the Nazis 4. One of the Teller mines - the bronze disc on the top is the fuse mechanism that LE.JAG found so many of. With the eagle and swastika, I suspect collectors who are into that sort of thing would eagerly buy these!
LE.JAG
on the first image there are two prospectorsone at the bottom and another among the postsin normal times the remains of the posts are not visiblethey are under the sandon this beach / over 5 years agostrangely, all the heads of Teller minelet's not get the swastika, only one of those found, year of production 1938I also had to dig a very large amount of piece of brassdetonator remnant
Joe Beechnut OBN
Wind and noise is a major factor when hunting. Enjoyed the video, Thanks for sharing. I like the longer then normal coil cable LE JAG. Something that would be good to isolate the control box from the saltwater...And the reason I mention this is ......"IN" rough saltwater the effect of the water on the control box can cause noise. Something I did with my excalibur was to remove the control Pod from the water and run it under my drysuit. The results.... the excalibur went from a machine that was hard to use, false-ing in rough water to a machine that was almost silent and un-affected by the current and waves. Still some noise from the coil but so much better it can turn a bad hunt into a good hunt.
Whitbey
Nice video of the AQ, but it's a teaser again holding a carrot in front of us. I want to see the AQ in production and want to swing one, maybe the Defence Production Act just put into power and used for us detectorist make Fisher move faster. 😄
