I get tired of hearing the iron tone in Coin Fast and Coin Deep sometimes so if I have the iron tone off over what I think is a US quarter or bigger denomination or maybe a "normal" steel crown cap which hopefully is not a Corona or foil covered Modelo.........I usually use the wiggle back method mentioned and listen for a distorted high tone, while also looking for negative numbers and/or a response in the iron probability bar. Even a quick negative number or blacked in portion of the iron probability bar along with weird audio is enough for me to move on to a better target.
