Quick
You out swinging your 7000 yet? Did the box freeze to the porch when the truck dropped it off? The weather that I looked at this morning in your area said 2° feels like -11° Hope you are staying warm.
nvchris
Tracking says Tuesday the 2ed. I have some reclamation/reseeding work to do so I plan to try it out (hopefully) then. Curious to see if it's running the latest firmware. Having fun with my new toy! The nugget flipper!

Randy Lunn
I had a software download issue in October when the GPZ update came out. During the download I somehow ended up with corrupted software. This is very unusual and could not be recreated by the Minelab technical team or the Kellyco repair expert. They responded the same day I reported the problem and worked with me for several days. They immediately sent me a new machine. I was very pleased with their responsiveness and high quality of there efforts.I did miss a few days detecting in Rye Patch with the GPZ but my buddy Chuck shared his SDC 2300 and Goldbug2 with me. I found one nugget with the 2300 so the trip was a success.
nvchris
Where did you send the unit for evaluation Randy?
nvchris
FWIW the replacement did not come with the latest firmware. I suppose I should be grateful that Ive gotten a brand new replacement. Not really, the customer service from ML West repair facility, non existent. Sad that the head of customer relations had to step in and do their job. Disappointed that Ive had to pay over $100 in shipping/insurance for a covered warranty issue. As a shareholder I'm outraged that the only option is a total replacement for a lack of a $100 part. Love the product, disappointed in the top management.
