my grandkids broke one of the battery door push pin connectors to my amigo II, does anyone know where I could find a replacement one? It appears to be exactly like the one on my old whites goldmaster II. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank's to all that reply.

the push pins are the same, the battery door is different. I just posted a pic. is there a way to remove the push pins without breaking them?

They expand to lock into place once installed, but can be compressed and pushed back out. Not easy though - try the survivor of your two to see how that goes.

They are called a Nylatch Panel Fastener. There are different sizes to contend with and I'm not sure which you have.

thank's a ton. I'll measure mine and match to the correct size. I had no idea where to look or what they were called.

Just measure the hole diameter and you should be able to find a close match. If not, self adhesive velcro works wonders for things like that. Good luck!!!

Shoot me a message with your address. I can send you a complete door. I have a dead Amigo that I robbed some components from to fix another, anyway, I have a spare housing and can gladly donate the battery cover.  Always good to see a Tesoro getting used by the younglings!

How about offering the Nox 800 with the 11'' coil plus the 6'' coil for $999 plus with a  pin pointer  as a winter special in the USA.With all the     money the  government  is given out it would be a good time to do it.

      Hello,
New to the forum, just wanted to say hello before I started to ask questions here haha. Several years ago I bought a junker metal detector to test out the hobby, it died a couple years later now I'm back.
Wondering how good Kellyco customer service is. Ordered a new MD from them and after 10 days of patiently waiting, I was sent what Is obviously a used machine. I paid for a new one so I'm a bit irritated about it. It's Sunday so I have to wait until tomorrow to call. I could have ordered one through Amazon, but thought I'd give them a try. Any issues with Kellyco before? Not looking to bad mouth anyone, just wondering if this is common business practice. They have been around a long time I see, so I guess I expected more from them.

Okay everybody, I just picked up a gold monster 1000, and now I'll be either looking for it another cheap one second hand for my wife / child, and possibly an SDC 2300. Honestly though, I see two toes really likes to use his SDC, and I see some other people who defend using their SDC, say it's a great machine, but I'm not sure if they're saying that because they already made the large investment, or if it really has its place.
The thing is, one of my children will be using the f-75 ltd in all metal mode, and I really want to keep it because it's good for relics and I think it's better on the beach probably. My other child or wife will be using the monster 1000, or who knows the GPZ, so that leaves another pair of hands free, I know another monster 1000 would be very simple to use, so that my 8-year-old could pick up is use.

But I really don't have all the time in the world, and I want to make everybody as efficient as possible in the field. If you're running an f75, golden monster, GPzv7000, and trying to get your team efficient on every machine, what machine would you recommend fill the gap? We don't do any underwater detecting then the occasional stream, no SCUBA diving and rare Beach. Really we're all about picking up nuggets, lots of them the more the better. Would you guys recommend another gold monster, STC 2300, or?

We need to be doing high banking panning slucing etc, but we need one more machine for an able pair of hands.

I either need someone to help me find a manual to download for the original bandido (not 2) or I need info on what the little black knob is on the back of the control housing. Maybe how to ground balance it. General information about it.

I am curious to hear from other 800 users on this one. I have detected many different sites in three different towns. Most are old public places with a good bit of activity throughout the years. My issue is this: almost without  exception, when I am hunting, there is an overwhelming amount of target signals coming through on almost every swing and it is frustrating to try and discern a good solid repeatable target to dig. I have ground balanced and kept the sensitivity down enough to cut out any EMI as needed. I run in park 1 typically. Also, when I have the horseshoe on, I have a hard time finding a clean spot to ground balance due to iron signals. I can't believe I am really getting that many target signals, so it concerns me I may have an issue. As a side note, this does not happen at the beach (salt water) when I detect there-it runs smoothly. One more thing: I have noticed since I have had my 800 (since August) that when I pinpoint, I sometimes have to reset by getting out of pinpoint mode and back in for it to work. Sorry for rambling, but any suggestions are appreciated!
