What Happens When ID Normalization Is Off??

What happens when you turn off ID normalization on the Deus??

 

Does bottle caps ring up lower and other targets spread out on the spectrum better?? Or does everything just run up to 95??

Each frequency gives a slightly different VDI on the same target. ID norm makes the Deus give a consistent VDI on a target across the different frequencies. It shouldn't matter that much since the Deus is a tonal machine. The Deus VDI isn't very accurate past about 6 inches. It will still try to up average deep targets in to the 90's.
