What are you using for a black light?  That one seems pretty powerful.  They supposedly work real well for agates too.

It’s Called the UVbeast 2.  It did a good job, I think they make a #3?  But, not sure it’s in a Flashlight form?  Must be a reason I didn’t get that one.

How do you find the RZR for prospecting?

I know there is a premium price for Side by Sides down in your parts!  To me they are just as important as your vehicle you use to get to the Gold Fields.  I use my truck now as base camp, saving the fuel and wear and tear on it sitting.  I got a 50” wide model so it fits right between the fender wells of my truck.  Being so small, it will get you thru the trees of Northern California and wiggle in between the Sage Brush of the High desert.  The engine in my RZR is a 570 goes plenty fast and gets crazy good gas mileage.  Carries a ton of gear and hasn’t let me down.

Thanks mate, I was after a 50" and was looking for an RZR in the 570 but nothing available until next year due to covid.

I just committed to a Can-am Maverick trail 800, unfortunately will suck a bit more juice than your 570 but should get me a few more places than my Perentie or Landcruisers will get me.

I agree with LuckyLundy (Rick) about the RZR 570. It's small, fits in my truck, hauls all my gear and wife and goes anywhere I dare to go. Saves a lot wear and tear on my truck.

Glen being in CO do you find it has enough power?  I really wanted to get a 570 but all my friends are saying I need to get some thing bigger engine wise like the 800. Or maybe it’s the 900 now I’m not sure. I thought that the 570 would do just as fine for dinking around and exploring. I’m not into sport/racing or going fast to tear shit up. I just don’t want to have two large adults in the machine not make it to the top of the hill LOL.
