German Iron Cross Ring?

This is a ring I just found on my last trip to the beach this summer. It looks like some sort of German ring with the iron cross and eagles on the side. It has no markings on the inside. Can it be from WW2? Does anyone have any information on an age or what it means? I would love to hear your thoughts!

Could that be a cross pattee?  The depiction on the side might help narrow down what this particular ring's meaning.  Is that some kind of bird-human hybrid?

No, it looks like a normal eagle. It does have a little shield type thing under the eagle.

Looks to be pot metal to me.  Not very good definition in it's appearance.  Maybe a fantasy ring?  GaryC/Oregon Coast

Looks like novelty jewelry probably pewter or if it is plated at all then zinc. Cross itself looks to be a color fill.

Late 1960's these were popular with the hippie types. Don't know about this one.

More like Biker wannabe... or Hot Rod culture of the time...

Recall that guy on Laugh-In TV series was dressed in the German garb. Many hippies had necklaces and other jewlery with that type cross. I don't know where it became popular, TV or movies probably. Don't know much about bikers.

Not all hippies were love and peace. Many were very anti-American I guess mostly due to the war in Viet Nam.

I have a few rings in this style. This ring is not even silver , let alone ww2. It's recent based on the condition. Also what I call a "junker".
