Interesting about a 3rd manufacturer of GPZ coils, there were rumours of an Aussie made one some time ago, with photos and all, but it never came to life.

If Minelab were not working on a new GPZ before the original was released I'd be very surprised, and disappointed. 🙂

 

Wouldn't a shaft connection up the shaft center, GPZ style, eliminate the ability to use existing coils without some sort of modification?
