Ammo Finds With Some History

I like digging shotshell heads & cartridge brass as well as lead. It helps date a site's activity. An amazing amount of ammunition has been fired just about anywhere you go. If you dig them you will dig the buttons & coins also.

Don't forget gold nuggets (and jewelry of various precious metals)!  It's OK to mention those on the coin and relic subforum, you just won't get too many views by people who specialize exclusively in gold prospecting (in particular).
