Best Aftermarket Coil

Recommended Posts

Chase ... with Teknetics G2 ..when using a 13 "Ultimate coil, I wouldn't worry .. about loss of stability or depth ... even in magnetic 7Bar Fe3o4 mineralization, or in hard terrain ... because G2 uses a sufficiently high degree of Ground Filter ... to stabilize such a coil enough ... in my opinion it is the best universal coil ... for this detector ..

A small lead seal remained deposited by a colleague .. at a depth of 16cm...in high  mineralized  terain Golden Forest..   https://youtu.be/RDRj2l9qpgk

Immediately afterwards, he tested the Teknetics G2 on a 13 "Ultimate coil...Discrimination is at 30...

Then came another test Teknetikcs G2 from the second - white 13 "Ultimate coil .. / my coil / ..   https://youtu.be/PCzZ3zHtZR4

From the test of these two 13 "ultimate coils on one detector, it can be said that both coils allow reliable detection even in difficult mineralized terrain ... but I recommend sweeping the coil a little slower for better detection ..- in such difficult terrain ..

Thanks.  I know you do a lot of 7 bar testing to know what does and doesn't work.  Thanks for the video links.

I recently picked up a new G2+ at less than $300.

Chase,

Would that be a "Pinky" G2+?  I too couldn't pass up that deal last year!

I did spring for two more coils for it, as stated at the beginning of the post! And my MXT All Pro, now has three aftermarket coils!

I have stuck with just the stock coil on the Equinox, because for me, the coil tab issue has been very prevalent; times three!! Now with the new coils about to appear next month, i will watch how they do, and possibly add one or two to the stable! I think i am pretty much set for good while! But i would like to add a dedicated, non-leaking salt water detector eventually! More than likely, a PI! 👍👍
