This is the title of a book about producing gold in WA.  I've just read a review of the book and think the book would be a good read.  It appears now because a company is about to begin production.  I don't own any Australian gold stocks but maybe I should.

The story of the gold rush to the Pilbara is best outlined in Professor Geoffery Blainey's  brilliant book "The Rush That Never Ended"

I would urge anyone interested in the entire history of gold exploration and discovery in Australia to buy a copy.

I found it impossible to put down and read the entire book overnight - a bit seedy the next day but worth it!

      Hello all,
I'm doing a small study of metal detectors in Africa. How do you refer to gold detectors in your local language?  What does the name mean?

And here was me thinking the 22" Concentric X-coil is a massive coil   People looking skyward in Central NSW might think they've seen a UFO if they catch a glimpse of the state's newest mining tool. It's an Aerial Electro Magnetic array called the 'X-cite' - and the exciting part is it's finding gold way out west.

I did have the opportunity to do so some years back but backed out. It wasn’t the cost of it all but more of that long flight there.
I’d given up hope of ever finding a nugget from Australia until the other day when low and behold one came in the mail. That’s right a beautiful gold nugget came in the mail from Australia and best of all it was found with a 6000.
I’m not going to say his name but he’s on here all the time.
I just want him to know that nugget is something I’ll keep forever and pass it on maybe one day.
       The Best!

Who has seen the videos of "Legend of Croc Gold" done in Bougainville Papua New Guinea and how did you get to see it (what links have you got to see it) I spent time there from Feb 1973 to Sep 1979 when I was young and fearless what a great and rewarding time it was for my family and self.

Victoria still has some gold.  I didn't find much of it but maybe I needed these new maps!
