If you watch a carpenter using a hammer you will see him/her use their wrist to double the speed of the hammer head. Excellent and this applies to many non-detecting activities such as driving a stake into the ground with a maul ("sledge hammer"), swinging an axe or hatchet, even a golf club, baseball bat, cricket bat,.... "Let the tool do the work!" Geof, you must have been good at the carnival, driving the weight up to ring the bell and getting a prize! 😁
