Back On The Farm Relic Hunting, Beach Wrap Up

Recommended Posts

Been living on wheels for ~40 years , seen the flooding thing a number of times. Not me but lets call them "other's clues".. I typically only stay in a campground if I'm working there (more stories on that another time but my pirate job is in there ! )

Now I just fill my tank and disconnect the hose , If I want to spoil myself with higher pressure than my pump can do , I stay hooked up but shut off the pressure when leaving the rig.

Maintenance on an RV is much less that owning a stix and brix. IMO..

A week at a beach is better than a year away from one !  Skuh kuh kuh kuh

Anyhoo , nice booty from yer visit.

And I bet she tried to blame you for it like most women would.

I read every hunt that you have posted over past few days and loved each one of them.

Sorry for the problems you had with the RV, and I guess she said it was your fault for that too.

Happy hunting on your next trip.

My wife is a fabulous person that has supported my interests since I met her. 🙂 I wish she could get out there with me, and she would if she could. Unfortunately age takes its toll, she has had 3 major repair surgeries: her right knee, left hip, and 5 back vertebrae. Only the back surgery was marginally successful, they left a drill bit in her hip, and her knee was so badly botched she had to go to a wound specialist for a year.

There are a lot of great women out there, it's just that they have to find you. 😀 I'm one of those people whom a woman has to hit me in the head with a brick to get my attention. I have always been focused on adventure and doing stuff.

Thanks Cap'n. Since I have both stix and brix and a land yacht, it's a good thing I retired early so I can keep 'em up. 😀 I should be using a pressure regulator, and paid the price because outdoor faucets seem to be an Achilles' Heel!

You are a lucky man, and smart; speaking of your wife so highly!😂 Sad state of affairs with her surgery's! My wife is a nurse, and has similar pains in all the same places! But is reluctant to get any surgeries; now I know why!! Been trying to get her to ditch the house for an RV, but the nesting instinct won't go away!! Probably has a lot to do with are lifetime resident son; for real!!👍👍

Good to have you back home safe, Bob.  Now you gotta put that water/beach experience to work strategizing how to attack that boat landing now that the watervis going to start warming up.

Thanks Chase. For me it was like using a new detector, it's a whole different environment. I'm just glad it was a bit easier. I find after one day back on the farms that relic hunting is a lot harder, involving a lot more analysis (and harder digging).

Got waders, I'm going to hit the water before all the boat wakes and snakes and ticks. Debating mowing the landing so I'll have it all summer! 😀

I have heard recently that a lot o' pirates have been there nighthawking, probably why there isn't much silver. 😵 Glad you got one!

I know a lady in KY that had some botched knees and an extra two tries to fix ditto...spent years bedridden . Now, just got em re-done in Nashville .@ V? about a year ago. .  She's very happy so far. The suit against the old doc pending.....
