Michael congrats on the big silver..very cool...I remember when the Nox first came out I took it to a small old park that I had hunted a lot with the ctx...there was a knoll where I figured people would kick back and lay in the grass lots of trees etc...I had found some coins and a couple junk rings on this knoll and had thought I had hunted it out but I got a faint deep iffy high tone with the Nox about 10 inches down out popped a you guessed it Franklin Half Silver..I was sold on the nox and now only use the CTX in really trashy areas as it has better disc then the nox.

Today we went picking strawberries but yesterday I went back to the same general area where I found the Franklin and two quarters.  I wet sand hunted one direction and then went back to dry sand with the 11" coil because there are some areas with impossible EMI because of ground cable.  Very little in the wet and tide sands as I expected.  Just some deep pennies.  

I worked the area completely where I found the half with a grid pattern and found the wheat.  Somewhere within my scooping I got the 1957 dime and I got the little .925 silver ring.  This actually sets up many, many one hour hunt boxes for when there is not much on the wet beaches.
