Here’s what each detector cost. GPZ 7000 $7999.00 GPX 6000 $6000.00 GPX 5000 $4000.00 SDC 2300 $3299.00 GM 1000 $899.00 Equinox 800 $949.00 For the Nox you will need a small coil that don’t come with it. Minelab 6” round coil $179.00 Coiltek 10X5 coil $219.00 Remember you have only 8000 to spend. It’s been said one detector can’t do it all. Now that I have some I would buy USED equipment for further purchases depending on where I was going to look for nuggets. I'm not a great fan of tiny but that might be all there is in the near future. I have a 7000 setup for an X-coil so I would get a concentric. What will be left AFTER the 6000? Ridge Runner Posted July 4, 2021 Author Share Posted July 4, 2021 I too would make my first choice 6000 and I already have a Nox 800 with the 10X5 on how far back order. That coil comes with a question mark ? . My main problem for me is weight ! If I can reduce that it gives me more time swinging. I can’t leap tall building anymore but I can walk around them.
