Allen M
I was thinking more about what I have that I found. There is a few spots on it that are completely straight and flat. I think more about where I found I I came across I spot that had a string of crystal quartz that was in the side of the mountain and they were upside down about 1.5-2 inches long. There was a string about 2 feet long of them. I found this piece about 200-300 feet away on the other side of the mountain. It was not very big. Because I explored and there was several places that had crystal quartz just babies of them tho. I think this is something that they was attacked to as they was made. Valens Legacy
Would need more information about it, like is it magnetic, what does it weigh, or what part of the country it's from. A more close up picture would also be nice.
Allen M
It weighted at 2.6 oz
Allen M
Very strong can not break a small piece off. It was located in Nevada. I believe the flat spots on it was from quartz’s crystals being attached to it.
F350Platinum
From "lensing", it's either manganocrete or a Chaga mushroom. 😀
Valens Legacy
Thanks for the better pictures, and I also think that F350Platinnum is correct.
Rick N. MI
I would say it is Manganocrete botrioidal. It is unusual and can make a nice display. Samples:
