If you do get a 24k you can still get the little 6" concentric coil for it, for some reason Serious Detecting has for sale another 6" 24k coil.  It'd be worth snapping that up as Garrett doesn't seem to be in any rush to release anymore coils for it.

That’s a nice coil. There’s others from more dealers for $137.  Was it listed for less? I bought mine from Jim McCulloch with my 24k.
