Nice haul Cap'n! That ring is awesome. Might even protect you from trigger finger if you wear it at night. 😀 That thingie is a coat/hem weight. Sure it isn't lead?

   Drapery hem weight; usually lead! I didn't have paint chips to eat as a kid, so I played with those!🤪 And fantastic silver ring!💍😯

   And I must commend you on your very symmetrical paper towel display!!😁👍👍

Looks like a hem weight alright, but does have some corrosion on it. They used brass ones during the Civil War to the early 1900's. The one you found is more recent around the early 1950's.

Yep it is probably lead. It just looked copperish when I pulled it out of the ground, but by the weight, it's most likely lead.

1950s would be about right for that park. Thanks for the info.
