Equinox S Rod Modification

I prefer S rods on machines under 4 lbs. straight shafts in machines over 4 lbs. Long story short it’s the rod design as much as anything that tips the scales for me, and has me going XP instead of NM. Sometimes it’s the simple things that make the difference.

Here are some improvements to the ergonomics of the minelab equinox 600/800 made with a 3D printer

Nothing is removed from the standard equinox shaft, just the connection of the two rods of the shaft is this

So...is this a unique homebrew design and/or something that can be purchased?  Are the 3D printer source design files available somewhere for download?  Don't be coy and just leave us hanging with your teaser pics and sunglasses smiley emojis.

I considered yes, should I post a link to this product, but if you have questions you can contact the person who designed it

Clever, but what does it weigh (with the fasteners, of course)?  Also how much does it change the effective max/min shaft length (and in which direction)?

As data I can't say anything, it's not there yet, but when I receive it I will take pictures with more photos and I will share information with you
