You can put some vinegar in the water. It shouldn't hurt anything. It might make more hydrogen gas. Electrolysis needs an electrolyte like salt or baking soda to work.

When you soak iron in white vinegar it might need to be soaked for awhile.

That's what I figured but thought I should ask anyway..

Those finds look like it was a tool shed or workshop detection..let me know if you find a table saw , I'm looking.....😉

Love the old tools and pad locks. Here are a few things I have accumulated. The small spikes I believe to be ore cart rail spikes. The item in the middle, next to the ox shoe, is a mystery. It looks like half of a cannon ball with a groove through the middle.
